Naveed photographed our wedding in February 2015. We were introduced to him via a friend and initially chatted via the internet; we both felt strongly that he was the right photographer for us. Working with Naveed, and with Rachel, turned out to be one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding day, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for us and our guests.

We really weren’t keen on many staged photos and, in keeping with the wedding, had a certain informal ‘look’ in mind, in terms of shots that we wanted, and those we didn’t. Not only did Naveed listen to and respect our ideas, he offered ideas and provided an expert’s opinion. The results are stunning! We now have a set of photos that have perfectly captured the atmosphere of the day, shown some fantastic moments that we had missed, provided some reminders of the details and memories that can sometimes get forgotten over time, and also – given us some beautiful¬† pictures that we will treasure. The care and detail taken with the editing of our photos is clearly evident too; something we really felt a lot of photographers were lacking.

On top of all of this, Naveed was friendly and easy to talk to, chatting with our guests and getting to know people whilst remaining the ultimate professional at all times; we’ve had so many comments from our guests about how friendly he was and how comfortable they felt being photographed by him. He coped effortlessly with the demands of a very large group of excited children during the day, yet still managed to capture the quieter moments in the happy chaos of the party, and the evening’s entertainment that night. He took shots of our venue that feature details we hadn’t even noticed ourselves, and had some absolutely fantastic, creative and original ideas that we are so pleased with.

I cannot recommend Naveed highly enough. He is incredibly talented and professional, yet friendly, approachable and seemingly utterly unflappable – everything you could possibly want in a photographer for a special occasion.
