Katy + Tim’s Stunning Lansdowne Club Wedding
After an awesome engagement shoot at Battersea Park, I was super excited for Katy and Tim’s Lansdowne Club wedding. The thing I love the most about being a wedding photographer is having open access to one of life’s biggest milestones; being able to see and feel the nerves before the ceremony and the joy and elation once “I Do” has been said. It’s even more special when during the speeches you get to hear those embarrassing and emotional stories and the love you feel in the room from friends and family. Katy and Tim’s wedding had all these and then some.
Lansdowne Club Wedding
I work all over London but it was the first time I’d been a wedding photographer in Mayfair and at The Lansdowne Club. Part of the Club was rebuilt in the 1930’s so it’s rooms are a mix of intricate 18th century plaster-work and stunning art deco design. With a beautiful venue like this I knew it was going to be an awesome wedding! Huge thanks to my friend Nick Labrum for helping me out!
After an emotional and heartfelt ceremony in the very elegant ‘Adam Room’, Katy and Tim had their reception in the stunning ‘Crush Hall’. We nipped out to Berkley Square Gardens for some portraits as the light was doing great things and it looked even better with London as the backdrop! We came back to the wedding breakfast in the ‘Ballroom’ with touching speeches from Katy’s Dad, Tim and, keeping to tradition, Tim’s best man shared some enlightening stories about Tim!
Congratulations again to Katy and Tim! Here are some of my favourites of their Lansdowne Club wedding:
The Lansdowne Club, London, is the ideal venue for any wedding ceremony and I had a great time shooting there. If you’re planning a wedding in London, or anywhere else in the UK then please get in touch, I’d love to hear all about it and have the opportunity to be your awesome London wedding photographer! 🙂
